Today is a day that I would like to pause and express my gratitude for all those that have served to protect our freedoms and our liberty. Today is a day to remember those that paid the ultimate price, giving their lives for our freedom.
These sacrifices give us the ability to live in a free, prosperous, and peaceful nation. We are able to travel freely, worship freely, express our beliefs and opinions freely, raise families freely, and work freely all because of the sacrifices made by men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation.
So thank you to the families that have sacrificed and given their loved ones for the cause of freedom in this world. A grateful nation remembers your loved ones, from those wars that are fresh in our collective minds to those that have faded into the history books. We remember those killed in peace time, serving our nation. We remember you, who gave us your loved ones. Thank you, thank you. We are grateful!
